Honoring Military Moms
On February 23, Roger and his son, Kory, chef and owner of Katch22 Restaurant in Houston, hosted a brunch at Katch22. Invited guests included Military Moms with a child currently deployed; Blue Star moms who have had a son or daughter serve in the Global War on Terror, and two Gold Star families who lost a son in combat. The brunch was a great way for the Roger Clemens Foundation to thank our Military Moms for raising patriotic sons and daughters who volunteered to serve our great nation. It also allowed the Moms to interact and connect with other Moms who have and are still experiencing stress and concern for their children; and for some, sadness on the loss of their child in battle.
Following the brunch, Roger spoke to the group, telling them about his experiences pitching at Yankee Stadium after 9/11. It was a momentous occasion when President George W. Bush took the mound and threw a perfect strike, sharing the crowd’s reaction of gratitude to our military. It was at that moment that Roger committed to always do what he could to thank our brave and courageous men and women who serve our country. Roger has participated in USA Tours, been involved with HelpingaHero.org and presented homes to our wounded heroes.

Chester's right-hand-gal - and one of his greatest inventions - is Barb, a highly evolved orangutan with a human brain. It's always been Flint's dream to be recognized as a great inventor, but everything changes when he discovers that his most infamous machine (which turns water into food) is still operating and is now creating food-animal hybrids - "foodimals!" With the fate of humanity in his hands, Chester sends Flint and his friends on a dangerously delicious mission - to battle hungry tacodiles, shrimpanzees, hippotatomuses, cheespiders and other food creatures to save the world again!
